Coexistence of nevus flammeus and nevus depigmentosus: Is it a new subtype of phakomatosis pigmentovascularis?

Phakomatosis pigmentovascularis is a rare genodermatosis characterized by combination of vascular malformations and pigmented nevi. There are numerous subtypes of phakomatosis pigmentovascularis and various classifications have been proposed in the literature. Nevus depigmentosus and dermatomal nevus flammeus were detected in 7 months old baby girl who suffer from birthmark on face and body. Only one case was found to be present with a similar clinical in the literature. We have reported this case because we think it is may be defined as a new type of phakomatosis pigmentovascularis

Nevüs flammeus ve nevüs depigmentozus birlikteliği: Yeni bir fakomatozis pigmentovaskülaris tipi mi?

Fakomatozis pigmentovaskülaris; vasküler malformasyonlar ve pigmente nevüslerin kombinasyonuyla karakterize nadir görülen bir genodermatozdur. Fakomatozis pigmentovaskülarisin çok sayıda alt tipi vardır ve literatürde çeşitli sınıflandırmalar önerilmiştir. Yüzde ve vücutta doğum lekesi şikâyeti ile kliniğimize başvuran 7 aylık kız çocuğunda, Nevüs depigmentozus ve yüzde dermatomal yerleşim gösteren Nevus flammeus tespit edildi. Literatür taramasında sadece bir vakanın benzer bir klinik ile prezente olduğu görüldü. Yeni bir fakomatozis pigmentovaskülaris alt tipi olarak tanımlanabileceğini düşündüğümüz olgumuzu sunuyoruz.
