Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis induced by penicilline: case reportEvren Sarıfakıoğlu1, Tülin Güleç1, Deniz Seçkin1Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis is a rare pustular dermatosis that has been recently described. Drugs mainly antibiotics, viruses, contact with mercury and food poisoning have been implicated in the etiopathogenesis of this disorder. The clinical manifestations are characterized by the acute onset of numerous, nonfollicular, sterile, superficial pustules located on widespread erythema. Fever and leukocytosis may frequently accompany this dramatic situation where rapid spontaneous recovery is typical. Herein, we present a 24-year-old male patient who had acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis after penicilline treatment. Akut jeneralize ekzanmatöz püstülozis yakın zamanda tanımlanmış, nadir görülen püstüler bir dermatozdur. Etyopatogenezinde başlıca antibiyotikler olmak üzere ilaçlar, virüsler, civaya maruz kalma ve besin zehirlenmesi suçlanmaktadır. Klinik bulgular, akut başlangıç gösteren, yaygın eritemli bir zeminde ortaya çıkan, foliküler yerleşimli olmayan, çok sayıda, steril, yüzeyel püstüllerle karakterizedir. Ateş ve lökositozun sıklıkla eşlik ettiği bu dramatik tabloda kısa sürede spontan düzelme olması tipiktir. Burada, oral penisilin tedavisi sonrasında akut jeneralize ekzantematöz püstülozis gelişen 24 yaşındaki bir erkek hasta sunulmaktadır.
