Nevus depigmentosus accompanying nevus comedonicus syndrome

Nevus comedonicus is a rare nevoid malformation, characterized by hyperkeratotic comedonal lesions scattered in several parts of the body. Skeletal abnormalities, central nervous system defects and ophtalmological pathologies can accompany the situation and in this condition, it is called nevus comedonicus syndrome. Herein, we present a twenty-eight-year old male patient diagnosed with nevus comedonicus with prepubertal segmentally located inflammatory nodules and comedones. The patient had a medical history of bone cyst and further investigation for nevus comedonicus syndrome revealed cerebral atrophy. Distinguishing property of our case was the accompanying nevus depigmentosus located on the same leg extending to the thigh.

Nevüs komedonikus sendromuna eşlik eden nevüs depigmentozus

Nevüs komedonikus nadir görülen bir nevoid malformasyon olup vücudun çeşitli bölgelerinde görülebilen, hiperkeratotik komedonal lezyonlar ile karakterize bir anomalidir. Santral sinir sisteminde, iskelet sisteminde, deride ve gözde anomaliler ile birliktelik gösterebilmekte ve bu durumda nevüs komedonikus sendromu adını almaktadır. Yirmi sekiz yaşındaki erkek olgumuza, puberte öncesi başlayan ve sağ uyluk arka yüzde segmental yerleşim gösteren enflamatuvar tipte nodüller ve komedonlar nedeniyle nevüs komedonikus tanısı konulmuştur. Nevüs komedonikus sendromunu araştırmak üzere yapılan tetkiklerde serebral atrofi saptandı ve öyküde vertebral kemik kisti mevcuttu. Olgumuzu diğer nevüs komedonikus sendromu olgularından farklı kılan özellik ise aynı bacaktan başlayıp kruris ön yüzüne dek ilerleyen nevüs depigmentozusun eşlik etmesidir.
